Friends, here’s an extremely rare part that’s only correct for the first 1106 Bugeye Sprites produced in 1958. These side curtain fixing screws are for the early variants that used a thin threaded shaft. These thin shafts were soon replaced with a thicker version that was less likely to break. That said, these are only correct for cars thru commission number 1606, which means for the first 1106 cars produced. If you have one of these early cars, and you’re a purist, this is the correct application for your car. Don’t drill and tap out those aluminum door caps, show them that you got the real deal.
