An Australian Crown Pyrex souffle baking dish in a white opal glass with orange flowers and yellow leaves  in a pattern known as Orange Blossom which was produced circa 1970

This dish is versatile - use it as a soufflĂ©, casserole or baking dish and is the perfect size. Whilst designed as ovenware it would also make a wonderful fruit, salad or serving bowl.

The scalloped edge on the outside of the dish is particularly lovely and works very well with the milky white glass finish.

The dish was made by Crown Crystal Glass Company of Australia (later called Crown Agee Pyrex - Agee stands for Australian Glass, short for the manufacturer Australian Glass Manufacturers) who produced Pyrex in Australia from the early 1930s. As well as producing their own range they also distributed Pyrex-ware in Australia from JAJ in England and Corning in the USA from the 1970s. Crown products are often in fact described as Crown Pyrex.

It is in very good condition with the exception of a slight crack on the inside rim- pictured and priced accordingly. The crack is not rough to touch and has left a very minute divot. There is  no wear to the pattern which is vibrant.

Approximate measurements are as follows: 18.5cm diameter(outer) and 7.5cm high

The marking as pictured on the underside shows an encircled three point Crown shape with the word CROWN included and underneath Ovenware . This marking identifies the piece from 1970 to mid 1970
