This particular feature is a typical feature of WISECO pistons, developed and used in its 75 years of production.

In fact, WISECO forged pistons have a different, but calculated, expansion compared to any other competing product,
which allows you to profitably use a single size in a new or moderately worn cylinder.
This is possible thanks to the unique characteristics of the aluminum alloy used,
to the advanced study of the expansions, therefore of the thicknesses at every precise point of the piston and to the particular forging system.

In fact, use a piston A? B? C on a cylinder that is too worn or ovalized and is only a palliative,
furthermore, A ? couplings are often used? B? C too precise which, by increasing friction, actually reduces engine performance.

The GP SERIES wording identifies a high performance piston,
with central band stopper to allow machining of the transfer ports on the cylinder, without hole on the intake side casing,
the piston crown and pin piston ring area undergoes a particular anti-wear treatment.

The wording SKIRT COATED identifies a piston to which a special permanent anti-friction treatment has been applied on the skirt which,
unlike competing products, it not only serves to facilitate the running-in period, but also permanently lowers the friction coefficient.
