Horikawa - Super Space Giant Robot -  3D Printed Gear Replacement set. VST: Vintage Space Toys


FINALLY ! you can get your Horikawa or Metal House Super Space Giant Robot from Japan back to work !  After so many years and having seen so many of these robots not walking anymore,  I finally took the time to solve this problem. Back to the drawing table to create new gears for this robot. 

These tinmade Super Space Giant Robots all have the same problem: 2 gears between the legs are made of plastic and these gears have one common flaw: these gears "split" on the axle. Because of this the robot don't walk anymore resulting in many of these in non working condition..

Now you can bring your robot  back to life by installing new gears !.
These 3D printed Gears are an exact copy of the original gears and will fit:  Both the SH Horikawa ( from the sixties ) and the later ( from the eighties, Metal House ) Tinmade Super Space Giant Robots .

This set includes a short step by step instruction manual,  2 gears, special grease, sanding paper and glue.  If you want to check your robot if these gears will fit than look between the legs of your robot ! :-) and check if the gearbox looks the same as the one I show in the pictures here.  Installing the gears will take about one hour and you need to have some experience and the correct tools to finish the job. when in doubt.. feel free to contact me.
