A very RARE Vintage Blenko Mini Pitcher in Tangerine Crackle. This pitcher was produced only from 1961 to 1963 in the Miniature specialty line, and only in the Crackle finish. It was numbered *60B in 1961, then became C60B in 1962 and 1963. The "*" and the "C" indicate the Crackle finish. See the page from the 1961 catalog.
It is signed (etched) on the bottom "WH Blenko." William H Blenko Jr., grandson of the founder.
This a great example of this pitcher and is in EXCEPTIONAL Vintage Pre-Owned condition. With pontil. No chips, cracks or damage of any kind.
Blenko produced any number of pitchers that look very similar, but none as small as this one. Also note the shape and application of the handle. This little pitcher is only 5" tall and 4" from the spout to the handle. It's about the size of a cruet.
The Miniature specialty line was produced from 1961 to 1963. Tangerine is the Blenko name for the ombre yellow to orange. This color combo is also known as Amberina.
