These are an original 2005 retro of the classic Adidas Crazy 8 Kobe Bryant sneakers. You can identify this as the 2005 retro from the tongue tags with the date/ year (see photo). These are one of the original and arguably a fan favorite black and white colorway he wore during his early seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. The shoe was originally released in 1997 and made its first retro/"bring back" in 2005. The shoe saw other retro years in 2011, 2015, and 2023. Again, this 2005 model is the very first generation retro. If you look closely at the photos, you will notice the yellowing on the white stripes due to age. That's normal. I brushed them with a Jason Markk suede brush and used Jason Markk shoe cleaner to clean them from topto bottom as best as I was able to. (See photo). Also, these do feature the beloved number "8" Lakers number font design/logo above the toe area (see photos).  Many fans complained that the recent 2023 retro didn't feature the 8, but this one had it.

This 2005 retro is pretty hard to find. Overall, these are a CLASSIC model/ colorway in the entire sneaker community.

NOTE: I provided a photo of the right insole's foam/glue worn out because of age. I had to remove it because it was leaving a mess inside, but I did clean it as much as possible (see photos). I recommend double-checking it or cleaning a little more if you have anything that can help. You will need new insoles because these are done for due to age. Also, the right shoe was missing its original laces, but I bought a brand new identical looking pair from Sofsole to replace. I will still give the original lace as well and the right insole that you see in the photos.  Aside from the insoles, there's absolutely nothing wrong at all with the shoes. They're completely wearable and ready to go. The insoles are a very easy fix/replacement.

I took as many photos under good sunlight for best accuracy. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me, and I will happily reply to you. Thank you.
