This set of twenty beautiful antique plates, from the Victorian era, exudes elegance and history and are wonderful when displayed together. The blue and white Royal Cottage pattern is a stunning example of the pottery production techniques from the 1800’s .The plates are handmade and have a printed backstamp. The set includes two large meat plates approx 16” by 13” ,six dinner plates 10 1/4” wide, six smaller 9” plates and six side plates just under 7” wide ,all in the same beautiful pattern.

The maker ,Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe of Staffordshire are well-known for quality products, and this set is no exception. The plates are in excellent condition and will add a touch of sophistication to any table setting or be a stunning display on a dresser. Please remember these plates are around one hundred and fifty plus years old now and have been used , I’ve noticed a few very small chips to the edges but some are glazed over so done in the production process- see pictures.
