FASHIONED OF A NATURAL TAN COTTON TWILL AND IS SUCH A RARE ICONIC EARLY PIECE BY ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH.
IT IS A SAFARI SET THAT CONSISTS OF A BELT BACK JACKET AND TROUSERS.
THE JACKET HAS COVERED ROUNDED POCKETS ON EACH SIDE OF THE FRONT WITH TURNED OVER COLLAR, SLIGTH CUT AWAY FRONT WITH BUTTON POCKETS ON EACH SIDE SEAM WITH THE BUTTONS ALINING WITH THE REAR BELTING.
INTERIOR BACK HAS A BUTTON POCKET THAT REVEALS THE RUBBERIZED POUCH. INTERIOR IS UNLINED WITH SLASH POCKETS ON EACH SIDE OF THE CHEST.
LABELED ON THE NECKLINE WITH SIZE TAG 36 AS WELL AS THE SAFARI ABERCROMBIE LABEL. DARK CELLULOID BUTTONS CLOSE THE FRONT.
THE TROUSERS BUTTON CLOSED AT THE SIDE WITH MATCHING BUTTONS WITH METAL SIDE ZIPPER. ANGLED POCKETS ON THE FRONT HAVING ZIP CLOSURE WITH RING PULL TABS ON EACH.
WHITE COTTON TWILL LINES THE POCKETS. BELT LOOP ALL AROUND THE TOP FOR ADDING A BELT. BOTTOM CUFFS ARE TURNED UP.
CONDITION: THE LEFT LEG OF THE PANTS HAS SOME FAINT PINDOT SPOT STAINS AND I HAVE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN. THE RIGHT LEG AT THE SIDE TWO INCHES ABOVE THE CUFF HAS SEEN A SMALL PERIOD MENDING OF A ONE INCH HOLE WITH A SIMILAR PINHEAD REPAIR ON THE CUFF ITSELF.
THE LEFT CORNER OF THE JACKET HAS SEVERAL PINDOT STAINS ON THE CUTAWAY, NOTE THE IMAGES.
