Antique Bakelite Chess Pieces, Butterscotch and Red Cherry color, with Box. 3.5" kings

This is truly a gorgeous set of chessmen made circa 1920's/ 30's. They appear to be made in Germany as the kings finial resembles German Uhlig sets . The box is marked Von Lengerke & Antoine, Chicago, ( Abercrombie & Fitch) 

I think it is clearly superior to all of the Lowe's sets which can be easily found on Ebay. The cherry red and Marbled butterscotch colors are beautiful!

Kings 3.5 inches tall. 

Complete set of 32 pieces, the pieces are in near mint condition, no chips cracks or repairs (Please see photos for condition) The pieces are unweighted, but since they are made of Bakelite, they are nicely weighted for their size. Box is made of wood and leather or leatherette and felted inside. Box is in great shape for its age, minimal wear, some leather is peeling off in one corner, it can easily by fixed with some glue.
