** “Taking the lid off perfumes” .By mid-1970s, collecting perfume bottles had become more popular than a few years earlier. A number of bottles are pictured in black-and-white with captions. These include:

*A clear glass Buddha figural bottle 2 1/2 inches high;

*A small green glass bottle with gold overlay in leaf design, probably Czechoslovakian,

*Devilbiss type atomizer with metal tube, frosted tangerine glass.
