*RARE* 1800 "THE PLAYS OF WILLIAM SHAKSPEARE" VOL 8 FICTION LEATHER BOOK (P3)

Great *RARE* antique fiction small leather book from 1800 containing three plays of William Shakespeare (or Shakspeare as he was once named). This is volume 8 and contains the three plays: King Richard III, King Henry VIII and Timon of Athens. Photo 2 shows that the spine is missing most of it's cover and the remaining bit flaps about. Photo 3 shows the lovely gold gilt page edges. Photo 6 shows the date as "800" but it is actually "1800" and the "1" has not printed during the printing process in 1800. Photo 16 shows a private home library label on the inside cover. Page binding and pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is 224 years old.
