Rectangular form seamlessly cast of bronze with rounded corners and domed top having applied copper and gold cluster of fruit and small bird in flight.  Front, sides and rear wall beautifully decorated in high relief with chased silver buddha hand citron on leafy branches, ikebana basket, fruit cluster, and large peony against acid resist cloudwork.  Precise three-knuckle hinge.  Silver lift tab.  Gilded lining.

Cover aligns perfectly and closes with secure "snap."
