Good dog!  Not only was Barbie's pooch the most loyal friend, but he also was the best dressed!  Barbie's poodle has matching coats, collars, hats, and accessories to many original Barbie fashions, and he looks so cute on display with your favorite vintage Barbie:) This Dog 'n Duds outfit is in Excellent and Complete condition and includes:  the grey furry poodle, red velvet coat, plaid coat, red braid leash and collar, studded collar with chain leash, Masquerade hat & mask, Graduation collar, Ballet class skirt, dog food bowl, bone, Dog Food box, and ear muffs.  Please note that the Raven Brunette Bubblecut doll in Red Flare is not included in this auction, this auction is only for the Dog 'n Duds outfit.  I won't call anything "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original package.  I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay.  If you have a question I haven't answered in my description, please ask me.  You may want to save me as a seller, as I am selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay.

As the pics show, the furry poodle has all of his cute facial features:)  He's one of the nicest condition dogs that I've ever ran across.  His pink felt tongue, googly eyes, felt ears, and pom tail make him "Best in Show"!  The wires inside his body are all intact, and his fur looks quite clean (it can often get brownish "age spots") and not matted. His tail was tucked close to his body in pics #2 & #4, but I adjusted it out in other pics of just the dog.  His 2 collars are both intact with buckle closures.  The collar's end shown on the poodle does curl a bit; I put a small rubber band around it in pics #10, #13, & #14, so the end doesn't curl out. The 2 dog coats have working snaps at the collars and straps that buckle.  The red velvet coat has 2 extra "poke" marks on its gold belt, but they aren't full-fledged holes. I've put a clear thin rubber band around the velvet coat's belt end, so it lays down nicely.  You may want to remove it for display.  The pink and black coat looks like it was never on the dog, as the belt's only hole is a tiny mark.

The felt Masquerade hat looks clean, and the elastic strap is intact, but a bit stretched out.  The black paper mask looks super nice; it doesn't have any bends, and its elastic is original.  The dog food bowl has small chips in the white paint around the rim and lower parts of the bowl, and the dog bone has a small melt mark on each of its sides.  The cardboard Dog Food box has  been slightly flattened, but I put some tissue inside it, and it looks great now.  The black Masquerade mask looks great with its black elastic strap.  The ear muffs wire is good; they look very nice.  The Graduation collar also looks good, with nice ribbons.  I will point out that on the tutu, there is 1/4" of stitching that has come undone on the satin ribbon, see pic #6; it should still display nicely.

Your favorite Barbie will enjoy walking her Dog 'n Duds!  Please see my other auctions for more Barbie and Francie dolls and clothing lots; and for other vintage dolls from the '50s - '70s.  I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases:)
