This is a nice old stein made by Villeroy and Boch.  The stein stands at 5 7/8" tall.  on the side it reads 3/10L.  On the bottom is the company name along with the city and country as well as the #2608 IV 29 00.The metal lid tab at the top has a splotch of old paint on it as shown in photo 1 and 15.  It may be able to be removed but it has been on there for awhile so it may not come off.  The metal that attaches to the handle has slight movement I tried to show in photo  13 and 14.  No breaks in the metal.  Opposite side of the handle on the metal at the edge the metal is slightly dented, seems more rolled over then it should be.  This is slight and adds to the character of the stein as shown in photos 6,7 and 8.  Slight staining to inside bottom of cup from age and use.  A lovely piece to add to any collection.  Please feel free to ask any questions and be sure to check out all photos.  Thank you for shopping with me.
