Nirvana - Original Love Buzz 7” Vinyl Hand Numbered #754/1000

I’ve decided to sell my copy of Love Buzz after owning it for thirty years. I purchased this in Maidstone, Kent England from a private collector in 1993. Both cover and vinyl are in near mint condition. Both sides or the vinyl have been played once on the day i bought it and has remained unplayed in dust proof storage ever since. I have a huge Nirvana collection and will be selling some of my rarest pieces in the coming weeks. Please contact me about postage if you are interested in purchasing. Any inspection is welcome and I will post worldwide

Limited Edition of 1200 copies.

1000 copies hand-numbered in red pen.

200 copies unnumbered, mostly with a red stripe in place of numbering, but a small number entirely blank. Some unnumbered copies distributed as promos.

Recorded at Reciprocal Studios, Seattle.

An original copy of this single will contain the following:

– The names ALICE WHEELER and SUZANNE SASIC can be seen clearly printed on the rear of the picture sleeve

– The cover is hand-numbered in a thin red felt pen.

– Not all copies seem to have been numbered by a lefthanded person, let alone just one person. Copies 1-499 do not match those above #500. Two people may have numbered the first 499 sleeves. Copies above #570 (since that’s the earliest example we have in the 500s) are numbered by someone else, meaning two or three people are responsible for the entire 1000. The style of writing on the high-numbered sleeves is very distinctive when compared to the low-numbered official copies and some badly attempted counterfeits.

– Hannah Parker was one of the people who numbered the copies.

– Side A run-out groove reads: SP-23-A Why Don’t You Trade Those Guitars For Shovels? L-31540. The writing is only 2mm high.

– Side B run-out groove reads: SP-23-B L-31540X. Both these messages are handwritten.

– Machine-stamped on both run-out grooves is the word, Kdisc. The stamp is very light and may have to be held under a bright light to be identified
