Here is an original un-touched example of this desirable prewar American Flyer wide gauge freight car. Includes #4010 Tank car in yellow with the tough blue-bands, brass trim, plates, and set trucks in gray. The car is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. This car came out of a 70+ year old collection of Flyer that we recently acquired. It had been sitting on the same shelf for the last 70 years, and you would be the 2nd real owner. The car is of course all original, but does have some wear as seen. It is extremely dirty, and would really improve with a cleaning. How much exactly, we are not sure. It may have been exposed to heat at some point. All trim is intact, with some slight oxidation to trucks and wheels. Some blue paint underneath has a slight flake. Please examine photos as they are the best description. Original example with great potential to clean up, no reserve!
