NEW WITH SMALL DEFECT:

Since 1963, Alvin-Dennis Clothiers has purveyed fine apparel from its premises at the corner of Washington & Jefferson Streets in Lexington, Virginia, a stone's throw from the campus of Washington & Lee University and not far from its neighbor, the Virginia Military Institute.

This tie was bought new from A-D and has never been worn, but it does have a small defect.

FLAW: There is a single hole along one edge about 26 inches up from the tip of the wide end (see photos w/ pen). Note that for many wearers, this part of the tie will be hidden under the shirt collar when the tie is worn, so consider that when weighing the gravity of this flaw. A typical 5'-10" man will have the wide end of his tie extending about 18" down his shirt front (measuring from the bottom edge of the tie knot), which means this hole will not be visible. (NOTE: I took several photos of the hole to give the best idea of its size and location on the tie, but there is only *ONE* hole, not multiple holes.)

Tie is pure wool challis.

The shade is an earthy rust-orange color with a printed geometric paisley pattern. Great tie for wear with brown, tan, or green tweeds and a cream or ecru shirt. Also looks nice with gray suits, in my opinion.

Approx. 3 5/8" max width by about 58" long.

Ships in clear cellophane protective tie sleeve.

Sale is final, no returns.
