This is a very early copy of Beatrix Potter’s 1st book; “The Tale Of Peter Rabbit”, which was first published in trade form by Frederick Warne & Co., in 1902. Meeting all requirements for the 4th trade printing; the book features 97 pages and leaf endpapers. It is complete internally but is classed as Poor condition, due to the missing spine and overall wear. It would make a very good addition to any children’s library or private decorative collection, or it could be beautifully restored by a specialist.
