It is mid century in age

The base measures 6" by 3 1/4" 

The metal "scroll" measures 1 1/2" wide. 

This book holder works fine. 

It is NOT new, please expect to see wear to include that the felt bottom is no longer there, and the edges of the base have wear to them showing the wooden under. I think these may be leather...could be wrong.
