This is for the SERIOUS COLLECTOR.

This SPECIAL package consists of three items: 1. A Special Edition GMP Peachtree brand 1:18th scale, CHROME black bodied '87 Buick Regal GNX diecast model. This model is PERFECTLY DETAILED from every angle. It has large "Buick" decals on the quarters. It is new.

NOTE - this model had NEVER been handled before and was ONLY taken out of its box for photos.

This model was meant to celebrate the 100 year anniversary (1904- 2003) of the Buick automobile company. Because of the 2003 milestone year, ONLY 2003 GNX diecast models were produced in total. 

HOWEVER, PRIOR to the diecast model being introduced to the public, the ORIGINAL GNX owners were allowed to order the ACTUAL numbers of their own private GNXs. Since I had two GNXs, I ordered two of these diecast models.

The car being sold is #545. This is a SPECIAL number for several reasons: There were only 547 GNXs actually produced and thus this number is near the finalization of the actual cars produced. There were actually ONLY 545 models sold to the public, as GM kept two of the GNXs for themselves. 

The number 545 is listed on the rear license plate of the diecast model car. A Certificate of Authenticity listing this car and contents as #545, also comes with the model. 

2. This model comes with a special lithograph poster. ONLY 547 of these posters were produced, to obviously match the GNX production numbers. The poster is 20" (W) x 16" (H). The colorful poster features various models from Buick's past and then present history. On the lower left of the poster is a yellow '70 GSX, with the '87 GNX behind it. A Grand National is shown on the right side of the poster. 

The artist that produced the poster PERSONALLY signed it on the lower left corner and numbered it also.

At the very bottom of the poster is a statement that reads, "This museum quality lithograph is #545 of 547 produced was released by Epitome Exclusives with the gold plated GMP Centennial 1987 GNX of the same serial number."

The poster comes in a special white tube with the GNX name and number 545 on the end cap.

NOTE - to avoid the poster being copied, soap boxes were used to hold it down and a paper towel was placed on top. 

The box that the model itself comes in is picturesque and provides a history of Buick itself as it features company information/ pictures of cars/ individuals.

NOTE- The box does exhibit some wear due to age and being kept in humid storage. 

3.- Caps were produced by Molly Designs. This was the ORIGINAL baseball styled cap that was offered to GNX owners by Buick when the GNX was a new model. The caps were adjustable and would fit any head.  

Although the cap had been worn many years prior, it is in good condition. It is also clean and free from odors. Normal wear on the cap is present. The caps were never sold by or available to Buick dealerships. 

If one has an original GNX/ Grand National/ T- Type or a collector of vintage GM or turbo Buick items, these are good items to add to any collection. Everything in this package is long out of production and there are ZERO reproductions available.
