The GPC-X2E is a full size Grand Performance 14- fret body guitar with a Sapele top and back and sides made from Martin's HPL Ziricote laminate material for great sound and stability. It is loaded with a Martin E1 preamp system that is tucked away neatly in the sound hole so you can control Volume and Tone with ease. Built in tuner for keeping things in check. The GPC-X2E comes with a padded soft case for protecting when traveling around. If you want that big, beautiful Martin sound but don't want to spend a fortune than look no further. The remastered X Series is made to play. The acoustic-electric GPC-X2E features a hand-rubbed satin wood top and eye-catching high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides patterns—cocobolo with a spruce top or ziricote with a sapele top—for added durability and looks, without sacrificing that classic Martin sound. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience, while its Grand Performance body size provides a projective, balanced tone with added bass, and a cutaway helps you reach the highest frets. The GPC-X2E also features an elegant abalone pattern rosette, select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, and Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, letting you plug in and play at any volume. All X Series models come with a softshell case.
