This listing is for the sale of a large antique "last rites" crucifix made of cherry wood, measuring roughly 13"x 7.5", and 1 1/2" thick. This crucifix is believed to have been hand-crafted many decades ago, but the precise date of creation is unknown. We estimate it is around 70 to 80 years old.
A Last Rites crucifix contains multiple tools to perform the last rites for a dying person, or a person undergoing a dangerous operation with grim odds of a positive outcome. Oftentimes, these last rites crucifixes are used by priests, but not always. This particular crucifix contains an empty holy water vial, two beeswax candles, and a few pieces of .925 silver.
As well, I included a brief imbuement prayer to our Lord Satan, which took place during a formal ritual. This crucifix was then completely and permanently sealed shut with both industrial adhesives and antique coffin nails. The crucifix cannot be opened without its complete destruction, and there is no value or point in trying to open it - it only retains its usefulness if it is left sealed.
The purpose of this vessel is to be used in one's home, on an altar and/or during rituals as a source of power and a means of trying to amplify the potency of one's rituals through overt blasphemy.
