Antique 1940's American Teddy Bear thick Chocolate Brown Mohair articulated 18"

  • From Fine Estate
  • 18 in tall
  • Beautiful mint condition, no wear to pads, or mohair, but the head is sewn on and doesn't move unless the stitches are cut. I feel the jointed discs in the body and head. The disc on the head needs to be re-attached, and then tightened with the cotter-pin. I never realized this until now.
  • The Bear is looking up, as if there is a bird he wants to catch....this is his natural posture. Perhaps that's why the head is sewn on the body. I just don't want to cut the thread, since this is the way he was found. He? She?
