The Egypt 10 Piastres Banknote was issued by the Egyptian Government between 1986 and 1996 under the 1940 law. It has a color combination of brown, green, and pink. Its obverse features a panel inscribed with “The Arab Republic of Egypt” in Arabic. It also shows a man holding a hoe on his shoulder, a soldier carrying a rifle, a man with his arm raised holding a wrench, two women wearing robes, and a flag with an eagle. The reverse depicts the Arab Republic of Egypt in English. The note does not contain a security thread. Its watermark reveals an ARE pattern in English and Arabic. The note is 118 x 62 mm in size and is signed by Mohamad Ahmed El Razaz. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
