External diameter: 38cm. Bridge length: 29cm. The set includes eight sections of access track and wiring. Access sections can be added and subtracted to fit the layout, up to a maximum of fourteen.

The turntable is designed to work with the standard R965 train controller. For correct operation place the locomotive on the bridge, then switch power from the track to the platform via the R046 'on-on' toggle switch (supplied with the set). The controller will now control the rotation of the turntable. If using an HM2000 controller, the platform must be powered from the uncontrolled DC output with an R047, "on-off" toggle switch, not from the speed controller output.
