Filton is an up-and-coming Japanese brand that launched in 2021.
The name comes from the French words ``Fil'' and ``bouton,'' which are a combination of ``thread'' and ``button.'' The brand is characterized by a collage of elements such as sewing needles, zippers, fabrics, measuring tape, and art, and this concept is reflected in its eyewear.
JEAN PHILIPPE JOLY is a passionate designer who pursues individual and unique eyewear and made her mark on the world of eyewear in 1999. The new styles created in his workshop combine timeless chic elements with French elegance. The thick frame design is particularly impressive, and the use of brightly colored acetate gives it a thick yet lightweight appearance.
This collaboration features models called "Boutuns" and "couture".
With a design that creates a synergistic effect of each other's strengths, the approximately 5mm thick frame is reminiscent of a French vintage silhouette. The crown pantoe and Parisian shape make your thick frame stand out.
The nose pad is inspired by the "Bodan" that can be said to be synonymous with Filton.
