This uncirculated 5,000 Indonesian rupiah banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by Bank Indonesia in 1999. It is a brown, green, red, blue, and yellow banknote that is dated 1992/1998, bear the signatures of Adrianus Mooy and Hasudungan Tampubolon, and measures 144 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and a Sasando Rote, a harp-like traditional stringed instrument from Rote Island. Its reverse side depicts a view of Danau Kelimutu (Kelimutu Volcano). Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark of Tjut Meutia.
