This is a rare usage and a great Canal Zone or German South West Africa item! It is a picture postcard of a farm/plantation near Gibeon, German SWA, postmarked by what I believe is a LU(DERITZ) Sept 9, 1912, postmark used to Gatun, Canal Zone. The sender lived in Charlottesthal, Coymans kop (now Koymanskop) now a famous ghost town in southern Namibia. This was sent at the height of the diamond rush in 1912 in Koymanskop. F/VF with some light edge wear but no faults, an incredibly rare and unusual origination and destination. A fantastic addition to a specialist postal history Canal Zone collection.

Please add $1.50 postage within the US; international postage $2. We combine shipping, so buy some other of our items!
