For sale is a limited edition paperweight, designed by William Manson & manufactured at Caithness in 1997. It measures a little over 2 3/8"(a little over 6cms) in diameter & a little under 2 1/4"(a little over 5.5cms) tall. The design features a bird stood in the water between sprigs of flowers & bullrushes & below a branch of pink flowers(see pics.4-9). There is a translucent amber coloured haze to the lower-rear of the weight(see pic.10). The rear facet has been star-cut(see pic.11). The "WM" signature cane is set at the base of the sprig of flowers(see pic.12). The base is etched, "Flamingo Caithness Scotland" & numbered, "91/150"(see pics.13-16) although only 112 were ever made. The weight is in great condition, with nothing more than some standing wear to the base. It comes complete with it's original box & certificate(see pics.17-19).
