Description
``Everest - Alternate Abbey Road Album'' is the latest edited collection that documents the production of ``Abbey Road'', which was the Beatles' final album recording. After completing the Get Back session in January 1969 and performing a rooftop live show, the Beatles regained their band unity and confidence and decided to continue working on a new album. However, without a clear concept like Get Back, the album's tentative title was ``Everest,'' a reference to the brand of cigarettes and the highest peak. Although it was eventually released as ``Abbey Road'', many of the songs recorded were performed in unfinished demo state at the Get Back sessions, and it is interesting that the original version of each song is recorded. . DISC 1 "Everest ~ Alternate Abbey Road Album" includes 18 related sound sources including "Come and Get It" and "Goodbye" in the latest remastered sound source.
DISC 2 ``Early Sessions of Abbey Road Tracks'' reproduces the album ``Abbey Road'' in the order of the songs, centering on the sound sources from the Get Back session, which is the stage before the full-fledged recording session. .
