For sale is an original set of 1980s era Hohner hot output humbucker pickups, in black with factory open bobbin ‘filler’ covers, narrow-spacing aged gold hex pole pieces and the 3-screw mounting arrangement, all typical for pickups of this era.
Complete with its original black 3-screw mounting rings (the neck ring is cracked as shown) plus original screws and springs and mounting screw sets, as shown.
These were originally fitted to an original early/mid 80s Hohner Explorer type guitar.
I’m clearing out my ‘MIJ/vintage’ parts box as I haven’t had use of these parts since removing them from my previous projects…
These items are in generally good vintage used condition. There are some surface pick mark scratches and ‘string rub’, with some plating loss and oxidisation to the metal parts, plus some grime, all from normal use over the years.
The neck pickup ring has cracks and both will be a little brittle so please be mindful of this!
