Beautifully made the top is carved mother of pearl, with a bovine bone core and base 

Possible originally in a rose wood sewing box or travelling case

Measuring approx. 1.5"(3.5cm) high x 1.25"(3cm) mother of pearl diameter

It is in very good condition with the minimal marks, rubs  & scuffs consistent with age .
