Superb Scope for both Visual and is Astro-photography legend with optics equal to the very top tier of telescopes.

If you're looking at this listing doubtless you know the reputation of this scope so I won't go into great detail, there are many reviews out there.

Views are absolutely crisp and high contrast with pin sharps stars across the field - even in visual without the Flattener. With the flattener the view is almost perfect. Quite outstanding.

Everything is superbly engineered and even the scope rings are beautiful CNC type solid machined metal rings with aluminium knobs, holding the scope perfectly. They have a flat top section with mounting holes giving flexible addition of accessories (handles, balance rail, guide scopes etc). It is fitted with losmandy type wide short dovetail  but can be easily swapped if preferred.

The dedicated Flattener does a brilliant job and can be attached direct to the scope coming with adapter rings.

The scope comes with:

Optics are Mint and clear and unmarked with only a few specks of dust. The body is in A1 condition as is the dew tube (slides smoothly) and the focuser which also has easy travel and is rock solid with no flop or sag (this can also be adjusted as can the tension). The dual speed works as it should. All threads and bolts are fine. The captain's wheel to alter the position of the focuser works as it should and locks everything back to the same position. Even the scope rings are unmarked. The dovetail has marks from use (could be easily swapped if you like or want to alter the type/length). The travel case has only travelled from the wardrobe and is in A1 condition externally. Internally there is the usual issue with the foam collars for the blue rubber balls having come on the side. I had an 80Pro which was exactly the same. The balls to the side and ends have been removed and missing (spares are available) as it is impossible an absolute pain to get the scope with them present. The useful top and bottom balls are present. The diagonal and the 100 Flattener/field Corrector are both Mint with clear optics. The metal scope cap is well made but a bit of a nuisance as the felt inside needs replacing often as the front section of the dew shield tends to rub it away from the inside of the metal - a roll of the felt tape is included. Otherwise everything is all mint and a wonderful scope.
