If you think today's stars are misbehaved, wait till you read this! I couldn't put it down and ended up finishing it in a few days. Anger's style of writing is witty, sarcastic, and will completely take you back into the past. The book covers early, pre-code Hollywood scandal up until Jayne Mansfield's death in 1967. There are so many juicy stories and morbid details in this book, and they are complete with lots of interesting pictures. (Although be warned- the pictures of Jayne Mansfield's car crash are almost too gruesome). It includes all the legends- Clara Bow, Carole Landis, Carole Lombard, Marilyn Monroe, Valentino, Navarro, Judy Garland (who actually died on the toilet), Gary Cooper, William Randolph Hurst, Jayne Mansfield, Charlie Chaplin, and etc.
