Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington (1769 - 1852) rose to prominence in the Napoleonic Wars - eventually reaching the rank of Field Marshal and is probably most famous for defeating Napoleon Bonaparte at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.
A cool, smooth reproduction sculpture produced using a unique dry casting process with white Carrara marble. Over 90% of the finished piece is natural marble which gives the fine, crisp detail found in our extensive range of sculptures, busts and wall plaques.
