SONAB MRS-3116-OLT is a mobile phone that was manufactured back in 1975 and is a direct predecessor of the Ericsson ROADCOM C600.
This mobile phone used the OLT network which was the predecessor to the NMT450 system.

I don't have a power cable, but as you can see in the pictures, I have connected 12v directly to the contacts.
As you can see, the voltmeter reads correctly. It also sounds short from the speaker when you turn on the power, however, the bulbs don't seem to work. 

Everything that is included in the auction can be seen in the pictures.
The original batteries are not included, but are included in the pictures so you can see how they are linked together.
For being almost 50 years old, this phone is in amazingly good visual condition, but there are of course minor marks, wear and tear.

SONAB / SRA / ERICSSON
Sonab was a Swedish company founded in 1966 by the engineer Stig Carlsson. 
At first they only manufactured speakers, but in the 70s they started developing mobile phones. 
In the 70s the market for mobile telephony was very small, this together with extremely high development costs caused Sonab to have major financial problems. 
Sonab was shut down in 1978 but Swedish SRA wants access to Sonab's development department and therefore bought Sonab in 1978.
Swedish SRA then continued to develop mobile phones with Sonab's know-how and together with Ericsson they released the Ericsson Roadcom 600 cellphone in 1981. 
In 1982-1983 Ericsson bought SRA and then continued the development of mobile phones with technology and development from both SONAB and SRA.

OLT & MTD SYSTEM
OLT (Norwegian for Offentlig Landmobil Telefoni, Public Land Mobile Telephony).
The network operated in the 160 MHz VHF band, using frequency modulation (FM) on 160-162 MHz for the mobile unit, and 168-170 MHz for the base station. 
Most mobile sets were semi-duplex, but some of the more expensive units were full duplex. 
Each subscriber was assigned a five digit phone number.
In 1976, the OLT system was extended to include UHF bands, incorporating MTD, and allowing international roaming within Scandinavian countries.

Remember, that after opening the parcel and checking the condition of the device, wait 12 hours before connecting the device to the power supply.
