Here we have a hand painted silk after a work by John Leech from the Handley Cross or Jorrocks's Hunt illustrations.
This does have some age and certainly at least early 20th century, very skillfully painted, copied from/study of John Leech works.
This depiction is of "The Kill on the Cat & Custard Pot Day" nice comical artwork/caricature.
Nicely framed and mounted, with fresh hanging attachments, ready to hang.
