Paithan, Aurangabad, Raichur, Murshidabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Tanjore, Tiruchirapalli And Madras Were Other Areas Of Brocade Production. Nevertheless Banaras Brocades Stand Out As Overwhelmingly Towering Both In Style And Execution. The Word Brocade Is Derived From The Latin Word ‘Brochus’ Denoting ‘To Stab’ Or To ‘Transfix’. Brocade Designs May Be Tasvir Or Pictorial Theme, Phulwar A Floral Design, Butidar, Geometrical Pattern, Shikargah Or Hunting Scenes.

Since they are older than 30 year so these vintage saree borders,trims can have small spots, blemishes and pinholes. It has some imperfections. It might have some stains or missing embroidery or missing beads . Please don't treat it as defect.Do Check uploaded photos for this item. Same would be shipped. Those irregularities cannot be deemed as faulty but rather seen as adding character.

They me also have unique color variations and irregular weaves that is characteristic of natural fibers.

Care Instructions :-

Silk Sarees ::

A)If you only want to remove the smell :-

1.Horizontally plate the saree and dip it in 1/4 th bucket of water with 6 to 7 drops of fabric softner for 10 minutes and then wash it in the plating form with just water.

2.Do not Squeeze or Tumble Dry, just spread and leave it to dry naturally.

B) If you want to wash it properly :-

1.Horizontally plate the saree and dip it in the mild detergent, grip the saree and move it up and down in detergent water with your hands and then wash it in the similar way with just water.

2.Do not Squeeze or Tumble Dry, just spread and leave it to dry naturally.

Beaded and Embroidered Stole and Saree ::

1. Wash gently in a mild detergent.

2. Do not Squeeze or tumble dry as beads will fall out.

3. Leave it to dry naturally.

THE ITEM COLOR OR SHADE MAY BE DARKER OR LIGHTER THAN THE PICTURE.
