This is an early work of listed Northwest Artist, Brett Varney.

Titled Island Home, the serigraph is a serene but colorful image of an Orca Pod in the Salish Sea among the San Juan Islands.

The signed serigraph is #42 of 299 and was made in 1993. The image is double matted and framed in a metal 20 3/8" X 10 1/4" X1" frame with no glass. The serigraph itself measures 14" X 3 5/8" and is in excellent condition.

The frame has some scuffs and missing paint as shown. The larger dark blue matt also has a few flaws- a small indentation and a scratch which I have tried to show in my photos.

Known for his arresting use of color, Brett Varney is no longer making these hand-pulled serigraphs.

This outstanding work is perfect for those who love Orca or Killer Whales and the Pacific Northwest.
