For sale is a chance to own a piece of history. One of the most iconic days in human history. Recorded live onto this reel to reel tape. Listen to the launch and cockpit audio from the famous day on the 16th of July 1969.

Side 1 - approx 5 minutes of countdown until lift off, with some news commentary with a British accent. News recording.

Side 2 - inside cockpit audio for approx 1 min 30 seconds then a group singing a bob Dylan song and another song afterwards.

It states 4 tracks on the label attached to it but it actually has two tracks on it.

This has some marks and wear. As expected with the age.

I have had an audio engineer on this and he has taken the audio from this and has digitalised remastered it and placed a copy onto a CD, which I will include in this sale. So you can listen to it without a reel to reel player.

As this is a home tape, it also has a recording of a small group singing a Bob Dylan song. Pretty cool.

The measurements are approx 1” thick and 3” diameter. The tape itself is half an inch wide.
