Original WWII transitional Westinghouse M1 helmet liner with the folded nape webbing, with hand-painted MP and 187 marking, white band and name inside. There is an overpainted decal 'P' from a previous MP marking as well. This liner was used into the Korean War given the multiple repaints and Korean War sweatband. Overall a nice example of an MP liner. Decent condition with some paint loss and corrosion on the metal rivets
