Description
Monocrystalline solar panels are suitable for both domestic and industrial use as well as for locations without electricity such as huts, caravans, gardens, etc. It is made from a single piece of monocrystalline silicon, which is produced by pulling warm crystalline material. The main advantage of monocrystalline panels is the lower temperature coefficient. In reality this means that if heated up in the hot weather, the monocrystalline will produce more electricity than the polycrystalline panel, which has a higher temperature coefficient.
- greater efficiency of cells and thus greater yield of power from the same area
- slightly less ‘ aging ’ of silicon, i.e. the performance of the panels decreases more slowly over time
- the colouring of the cells is homogeneous, the panels are not ‘ stained ’
