Solid brass double switchplate cover - markeds GIM M.C. Co and 3048. It features an eagle atop a patriotic shield, resting on on a scroll with a quote from John Quincy Adams - "PEACE - This hand, to tyrants ever sworn the foe, For Freedom only deals the deadly blow; Then sheathes in calm repose the vengeful blade, For gentle peace in Freedom's hallowed shade". This plate requires four screws, which are NOT included.  It measures approximately 5-1/2" wide x 6-5/8" tall x 1/4" deep.
