This is an original press photo. Mister Rogers talks about the "nos" and "yeses" of doing creative work with potter Eva Kwong (1) and painter Dianne Dengel (2). "Learning how to control messy materials like clay and paint takes a long time and requires a lot of discipline." Fred Rogers says. The scenes are from a new week of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Programs titled. "No and Yes" which will air from February 4-8, 1985. Mister Rogers and his old friend Chrissie Thompson share the same porch step they did nine years ago. During new programs about "No and Yes," Chrissie and Mister Rogers talk about the challenges of her growing-up years, in her many visits to "The Neighborhood" when she was young. Chrissie helped Mister Rogers' Neighborhood viewers understand handicaps. About her own "nos and yeses" Chrissie says. "You often forget about the limitations you have when you find things you can do."Photo measures 7.5 x 10inches. Photo is dated --1973.
