It may still work fine with a new battery. I tried to change it and couldn't get the top cover off without damaging the top of the case. It has 120 GB OF CLASSIC ROCK  AND POP MUSIC ON THE HARD DRIVE. ALL IN HIGH QUALITY  !!  It was working fine before I tried to change the battery and was lightly used.
