What is LVLP spraying?

LVLP Spray Gun is equipped with a 1.3mm nozzle, which is a combination of conventional Airspray and HVLP Airspray. It also uses lower air pressure to atomize the coating, greatly saving the amount of coating and improving its working efficiency.

LVLP Spray Gun uses less air volume (5-18 CFM) then HVLP (10-25 CFM) and lower air pressure (10-30 PSI) than a typical conventional Airspray gun (35-60 PSI). LVLP guns have large air passage like the HVLP guns but the air caps have slightly smaller holes. The smaller holes create more air pressure at the air cap which creates better atomization.The LVLP spray gun technology atomizes difficult coatings, higher viscosities, water borne and higher flow rates better than HVLP guns. The LVLP guns applies coatings faster making them better suited for large objects and high production applications.

Reduced pressure helps increase the transfer efficiency up to 92%, meaning more material sticks to the intended object rather than being redirected into the air. 1.3 mm Nozzle: The color coded blue 1.3 mm nozzle size is perfect for clear coat and a variety of automotive and household painting projects. 

600cc Cup: Each 600cc PVC cup comes with lid, and each paint spray unit comes with a metal air gauge/regulator, cleaning brush and a multi-size wrench for assembly/disassembly.
