All comic books (unless stated) will have a cardboard backing inside a plastic sleeve.
Unless stated, stock pictures are never used. The photos for each listing will be the actual item you will receive.
All comic books are stored in a smoke free home.

Mint - New
A new comic book.
New - Other
A new comic book but it may have one or 2 very minor flaws
or it may have come from old stock.
Near Mint (NM)
A near mint comic book is near perfect – almost like new. It should have full, bright colors and gloss and no wear of any kind. The comic book should lie perfectly flat.
Very Fine (VF)
The comic book still has a sharp look to it with nice bright colors and gloss. It lies flat. It may have a few small stress marks on the spine or the outer edge. No creasing is allowed.
Fine (F)
The comic book has an attractive look but it can have more defects that the higher grade of VF. It may have 4 or 5 stress lines, a small corner crease, a small edge tear or more general edge wear. No tape or large tears or notable pieces out of the cover allowed.
Very Good (VG)
A Very Good rated comic book is one that is considered your average handled and read copy. It might have some noticeable wear on the spine and edges as well as some noticeable creasing on the cover. Also, it could have a one inch tear or less. A small piece of tape on or inside the cover is allowed. The comic book might have some light soiling or staining. A slightly rolled spine is permitted.
Good (G)
Though a rating of Good is similar in many ways to a VG, it may have more severe or numerous defects. It could have a piece (but not too large a piece) out of the front or back cover.
Fair (F)
Comic books that are rated to be Fair are usually rough but are still a complete copy. It may have lots of tape on the cover, or tears, or pieces out of cover. Other permitted characteristics are staining, soiling and excessive wear.
Poor (P)
A Poor rated comic book is one that is severely beaten up or is incomplete. It could possibly have large pieces missing out of its cover or have no back cover at all.
