For sale is my lightly worn NOMOS Glashütte Ludwig Neomatik Champagner watch, Ref. 283, along with the instruction manual, signed and dated guarantee card, black leather carrying case, black cleaning cloth, outer cloth - covered cardboard box and the service receipt from a UK AD. The watch was originally purchased from an Authorised Dealer in Winter 2016 and I bought it pre - owned last year (2023) from a UK NOMOS AD, following their full service and polish. It is presented on an unworn Fluco (NOMOS OEM) size 'S' light brown velour strap with a signed NOMOS buckle.

I'm only selling this as I wanted to use this for formal occasions, but since I bought my Reverso and Breguet immediately after it, this has never even been worn. Thus, I want to find this watch a new home where it is worn with love and will be cared for.

There may be ever so slight marks, from being very occasionally worn, but they are imperceptible to the naked eye and will definitely disappear if polished with a Cape Cod or something similar. Though unworn for some months, it keeps perfect time and within NOMOS' specification, especially after the recent service.

This is a casual watch amongst classics. The dial is galvanised, champagne gold in colour. The numerals are Arabic for minute markers, with Roman numerals in neon orange for the hour markers. The hands are silver, rhodium - plated. The Ludwig neomatik champagne is a rather progressive contemporary.

The slender lugs curve gently downward and capture the contours of the wrist. The 36.0 mm diameter, with 7.0 mm thick case and a lug - to - lug of 46.0 mm makes this a very well - proportioned watch.

Within this timepiece, ticks NOMOS' well - known in - house manufacture calibre DUW 3001. This is an automatic movement. It is 27 jewels movement, 3.2 mm thick, bearing a power reserve of around 43 hours and keeps very good time.

This watch is genuinely lightly worn, and the price reflects this. The RRP is £2960 and is now on a 12 months back order, so this is fairly priced, in my opinion as it is genuinely lightly worn and recently serviced.
