1951 Festival Of Britain

Pictorial cover Sent from the exhibition  post office on the day that the exhibition opened to the public, 4th May 1951. The stamps were officially issued the day before the Festival opened. The cover was sent via registered mail and the stamps are cancelled by a postmark with a FOB star logo. There is also the same postmark on the back of the cover
