We bought some of these to use for a fish fry at our church. Unfortunately/fortunately the fish frys turned out to be so popular that we needed to upgrade to the bigger, industrial size fryers in order to keep up. As a result, these were only used 3 nights before we upgraded - meaning they have about 6 hours total of frying. 

They work great - so much so that I've kept one for myself and have used it as noted above....to make fries, rings, etc. to go with the burgers when grilling out. They're great for frying fish - just did a fish fry last fall for friends with mine, and it was perfect for cooking for 8 of us (as opposed to hundreds at the church event!).

Comes in the original box - with everything you see in the photos, including the brand new (still in the original bubble wrap) thermometer. The recipe booklet/instructions don't appear to have made it back into the box - but it's super easy to use. Hook up your propane tank, turn on the gas, light the flame, adjust the flame, and you're ready to fry! Although it doesn't indicate the size on the box - when looking on line it appears this model has a 9 quart fryer. The fry pot dimensions are 12" wide and 5" tall.

When looking on Amazon, it appears they've come out with a newer model now - which sells for over $100. Save yourself some cash and go with this very lightly used model.Be the hit of the next neighborhood/family cookout, with fresh, hot, crispy fries, onion rings & curds.
